What a busy couple of weeks it has been and I don’t see it slowing down anytime soon! Ever since leaving Nantucket I have been busy trying to lock down an apartment, fix my car, and make plans for my winter. This past week we finally made some headway. After a quick weekend visiting my boyfriends family we moved into our new little apartment. I’m still not convinced on living in upstate New York but there is no denying that it has some beautiful moments. I think this apartment will make a great little home until for the winter and I’m so looking forward to enjoying my own apartment and space again. I’m hoping this also means that I will get back into a much healthier routine.
The routine will have to wait though. Not five days after moving into an apartment, I was already back on the road and back to Boston. An invitation to “Friendsgiving” with some of my closest friends could not be passed up. It was so nice getting to see the whole gang and really enjoy everyones company. I think the last time we were all together was probably graduation?! There is no better way to get into the holiday spirit than spending time with those closest to you and reconnecting with people you haven’t seen in a long time!

With that rush of holiday spirit came the urge to holiday shop! While I always try and keep things small and minimal there are certain things that I always pick up every year. Holiday candles, stationary, calendars, scarves, teas etc…My mom and I got a good look of everything when we ventured to our favorite Home Goods and we left with a couple items and lots of ideas. But before all the shopping, it’s time to enjoy Thanksgiving!
Wishing everyone a happy and safe Thanksgiving !!
