Go to Breakfast Smoothie

For the past few weeks I have been making this smoothie and I have been loving it. I have tried to get into them in the past but it never really worked for me. I would always get bored or I would try to add to many things into it that it basically became inedible. This combination,however, is fool proof.

For this smoothie you will need
1 handful frozen mix berries
1 frozen banana
1 tbsp peanut butter
1 tbsp chia seeds
1 cup almond milk

Simple. Just throw it in the a blender and whiz it up and you are done. Add as little or as much almond milk as you like until it is at your desired consistency. In the end you will have a delicious and healthy treat that taste like a PB&J!

The best part, I’ve learned about making smoothies, is that there are so many combinations. You can really add whatever you like, although I still think less is more. I am trying to ease my way into a health kick and this has been a great start. This has been a refreshing way to begin my day versus the toast or english muffin that always left me hungry 20 minutes later!
